The Lazy Chicken

Our chicken Honey has been broody for 5-6 weeks now and she still won't stop trying to hatch her eggs. It's been getting really annoying now since weve been trying to get her out for weeks. This morning my Dad finally got Honey out of the nesting box I'm not sure if she's still out there or not she's probably inside the nesting box because she doesn't like it outside.

New Chickens!

A few weeks ago you may have heard that two of my chickens Peggy and Petrol died. Today Mum went to a Chicken breeder where she brought some chickens! to replace Peggy and Petrol. Here's a few photos of them!

a sad end

Yesterday night a fox got hold of PEGGY and PETROL and plucked some of Honey's feathers out. Everyone was really sad especially me!

The great bird feeder fall!

Today I er um well actually yesterday I was filling up the bird feeder (The chickens ARE involved in this!) Anyway I had to screw up the lid on it and today it fell off the bird table. And wait for it the chickens had a nice meal while I picked up the pieces:( of feeder.

Normal chicken life

Today the chickens have been out for a run it was kind of like a race to get out of the coop. Peggy got out first! Followed by Iras then Toffee then Fudge. In other words I've got an awesome card for my ds called r4 with games, films and music.
